These posters for the Bladeworks Fencing Club has to be one of the finest pieces of craftsmanship I’ve seen in a while. Rethink, a Canadian agency, hired typographer Tony DiSpigna to create a Zorro-esque inspired script for the club that was laser-cut to perfection. the objective was to show that fencing is a good way to stay fit, and this would definitely be a way to catch my attention. I love these process photos, showing how Tony went from pencil sketch, to refining the poster, and then the final product. It’s incredible how many amazing little details that went into the poster, and it’s neat how the light shines through it and really highlights all the subtleties. You can see more images of how the poster was made by clicking here.
