In her own words, Catrina Stewart describes the London City Farmhouse project as “a prototype that looks at forming new self-sufficient communities which integrate agriculture and housing.” The project incorporates a slew of sustainable technologies into its wonky and polychrome architectural assemblage, represented by drawings and models with a strong, whimsical attitude. Oh, and it’s built on top of public toilets.

The video showcasing Catrina’s project was directed by Miles Langley¬†as part of the Imagined Cities exhibition at the London Design Festival. I’d love to see these drawings and models in person; the project is just bizarre enough to be fantastic.
