Another reason to love Canada and its people: Sarah Graham. I stumbled across one of Sarah’s drawings this past weekend, and spent the next hour digging through her website trying to find more information about her. I learned that she’s incredibly talented and witty, she’s exhibited her work internationally, and she’s even dabbled in a little bit of architectural detailing. Sort of. A few years ago she realized these bright orange rail-things for the Toronto mass transit system. The drawings above are from her series New Systems Require New Structures which mashes architectural fragments together. These conglomerate masses of shifting perspectives exhibit the kind of attention to lineweight that will make any freshman or first year graduate architecture student drool. Thanks, Canada.
