I’m absolutely knackered after going to the Nike FuelBand launch (which I’ll be posting about as well), but I still wanted to quickly share something tonight. The video above is a look at Kit Webster’s amazing art piece Prismatica, which is “an arrangement of pyramid-shaped crystals affixed to an LCD screen and illuminated with programmed geometric animation.” What you’re getting is both a physical and digital piece, but only the digital part is shifting, even though it makes the crystals feel like they’re moving. It’s a really beautiful effect done extremely well, I just want to sit here and watch it change for hours. For more photos and videos from the project, be sure to click here.
