A rehabilitation center in Copenhagen with a multifaceted roof designed by Nord Architects

A few weeks ago, we highlighted a Cancer Counseling Center designed by the Danish firm EFFEKT; today, we are featuring a programmatically-related and recently completed rehabilitation center in Copenhagen designed by Nord Architects. Both projects create spaces where families can spend time together while a member heals from some kind of treatment or illness. While both projects use a gabled roofline to create a variety of spaces, the roofline of this project is much more complex, and from the pristine white interior, the ceiling helps animate the project without creating unnecessary barriers for patients or their families.  If you’re not familiar with the work of Nord Architects, be sure to take a gander at the Natural Science Building they designed.
