An interview with Francine Houben of Mecanoo Architects

I ran across this short video about Francine Houben, director of the Dutch office Mecanoo Architecten. The video doesn’t highlight the Kaap Skil Maritime and Beachcombers Museum that we talked about a few weeks ago, but it does talk about some of the firms other, more prominent ¬†works as well as a few forthcoming projects. Although the firm doesn’t enjoy the same kind of attention as other dutch practices, two of the firm’s projects under construction will garner a lot more attention for the firm when they are completed: the Birmingham Library and the¬†Wei-Wu-Ying Center for the Arts.
