Not be be outdone by UCSD, this is the newest addition of art to the campus of Rice University in Houston, Texas. Skyspace by James Turrell is a place to sit and watch the sky through an aperture in a canopy above your head. But it is also much more. Although the work does not officially open for another week or so, the University uploaded a video of the completed project. Students give their impressions of the space along with the University President, a major benefactor, and a lady from the Art Department.
