I discovered the fantastically named The Late Great Fitzcarraldos through a recommendation by the Danish band Efterklang about a year or so ago. After checking them I found that I’d fallen for them hook, line, and sinker and their self-titled debut was easily one of my favourite albums of last year.

Recently the trio released Jesu, the first single from their follow-up album. It’s a song filled with soft synths and carmel vocals and it stands as a promising introduction to what should lie ahead on their upcoming LP. Stick it on and prepare to get lost in a funky summer-soaked trance. It’s great stuff!
