Slumber
This week’s wallpaper may very well be one of the best we’ve ever featured. It was created by Sam Hadley, who also goes by the alias Slumber, who’s a commercial illustrator currently working in Bristol. When I started looking for new collaborators for the DWP Slumber wrote me a nice email and said he’d be interested in helping out. I have quite an affinity for his landscapes, so I asked him if he’d be interested in creating something “Japanese inspired”, as I also have the the affinity for everything Japan related.
To my shock and awe, he sent the amazing, gorgeous, superlative-inducing wallpaper you see above. To put it simply, this is a stunning piece of art. The lovely pagoda, the peaceful crane; everything about this is perfect to me. It’s so serene and calming. If you don’t make this your desktop background you might be crazy. A huge from-the-bottom-of-my-heart thanks to Sam for making such a wonderful piece.
