This is the Rey Juan Carlos Hospital designed by Rafael De La-Hoz. Built in Madrid, the hospital breaks with the boxy and regulation-driven hospital projects that most of us are probably used to seeing. The light-filled courtyards and wood-lined lobbies are wrapped in a skin of geometric gossamer. The architect says he sees the ”the architecture as a medical treatment” through its generous and varied spaces.
