We’ve been waiting two years for this, and awwwwww shit Steve Ellison, aka Flying Lotus, aka Flylo is back with some of the most inventive beats in modern hip hop or jazz. If Cosmogramma wasn’t the best record of 2010 it might be the one of the most influential.

His new release, Until the Quiet Comes, will arrive with expectation and, for many, a lot of relief. Coinciding with the introduction of his new album, Kahlil Joseph shot this amazing video to the music. It includes clips from See Thru To U (feat. Erykah Badu), Hunger (feat. Niki Randa), and Getting There (feat. Niki Randa). Shot in Nickerson Gardens in Watts, Los Angeles, the film oscillates between a story of a loss and the emotional dancing of Brooklynite Storyboard P. A cool, great video altogether.
