‘Unmonday 4.3L’ is the name of a fantastic ceramic speaker created by Finnish designers Unmonday. Cased in a beautiful hexagonal porcelain enclosure, the speakers can be used wirelessly with any kind of device using airplay. It seems like simplicity and usability are at the core of their design but not at the expense of great sound quality.

My favorite thing about them is how they are almost completely button-less; all the user-interfacing is done by rotating the speaker around. I think it’s a great idea and you can see the different settings in the photo above. The creators have also teamed up with Helsinki-based designers Lumi Accessories and made a beautiful leather-case for their speaker. All-in-all it looks to be a beautiful package.
