Noah Butkus

Noah Butkus

It’s really hard to pinpoint Noah Butkus’ work, and what the hell is going on. It reminds me a lot of growing up, like my life between the ages of birth and 18. Coloring and comic books, seventies stoner art. It’s kind of naive like Neckface, sort of calculated like Geoff McFetridge, but has sort of a delicate, intricacy like Moebius.

Hahahahaha… that was so pretentious sounding. This dude makes the raddest/creepiest art, with lots of ghosty looking guys with bloody swords and fucked up dead things. Tight.
